Video Summary:
The video tutorial centers on improving the process of creating prompts for infographics using NotebookLM, a sophisticated tool aimed at facilitating deep research and effective information management.
The initial phase involves the user starting a session in NotebookLM, where they are encouraged to conduct extensive research to build a solid and credible foundation for their infographic project.
The user is prompted to ask about the most effective methods for crafting an infographic, particularly focusing on a single visual or slide.
Following this inquiry, the video indicates a brief pause while the deep research is undertaken.
Upon completion of the research, the user is presented with a curated selection of sources that have been generated based on their query.
They have the choice to either keep the report as is or import all the sources into their NotebookLM environment.
For demonstration purposes, the user decides to import all sources.
Subsequently, the user is instructed to refresh their Notebook by pressing the F5 key, ensuring that all newly acquired information is updated and accessible.
The next phase involves leveraging the imported sources to create new prompts for Gemini, another tool designed to assist in the infographic creation process.
The user is guided to input these prompts into Gemini, which will then generate a set of tailored prompts specifically for their infographic project.
It is advisable for the user to save these prompts in a note for future reference, ensuring they have easy access to them later.
Following this, the user copies the complete prompt intended for Gemini and uploads the document they wish to convert into an infographic.
They are instructed to activate the image generation features and submit their request. Gemini will then outline its methodology for creating the infographic.
The user is encouraged to request that Gemini generate the image, leading to the actual production of the infographic.
Once the infographic is created, the user is advised to interact with Gemini by inquiring about the elements that contribute to the effectiveness of the image and the reasoning behind its design choices.
This engagement is designed to provide valuable insights into what makes the infographic successful.
The user can then export this explanatory information to a Google Doc, which can be stored within their NotebookLM Notebook that is dedicated to the creation of infographics.
The video concludes with expressions of gratitude and an invitation for viewers to explore additional content in future videos, signalling that the learning journey regarding infographics and the utilisation of these tools will be ongoing.

Video Transcript
Hello and welcome. In this video, we’re going to become more effective in creating prompts for infographics. And we’re going to use NotebookLM to do it inside of an open notebook.
Start inside of NotebookLM to create an authoritative source by doing deep research.
And you’re going to ask NotebookLM the best way to create an effective infographic on one visual or slide. You will then click Enter.
This is going to take a little time, so we’re going to stop the video here.
We’re going to pick it up from the completion of the deep research. Once the sources have been generated, you can view them.
You can choose whether you want to keep the report and or import all the sources. For the sake of this video, we’re just going to go ahead and import all the sources.
You’ll then want to refresh your Notebook by clicking F5. You can ask for prompts to put inside of Gemini.
So we’re going to use the sources to help us to write new prompts. We will then click Enter and we’ll then get our new prompts. You’ll then have your prompts for Gemini.
You’ll want to save them to a note. We can copy the entire Gemini prompt and we can head to Gemini.
What we’re going to do is we’re going to upload the document we want to turn into an infographic.
We can turn on our images and then click Enter. Gemini will then lay out what it’s going to do. What we’re going to do is we’re going to ask it to create the image.
Our infographic is now created. Now it’s a good idea that you go into Gemini. You ask Gemini what makes this image effective and why it chose to create it the way it did.
So we’re going to go ahead and we’re going to ask Gemini about the image.
Gemini can then tell you why this image is going to be more effective.
You can then export this information to a Google Doc and you can place that document inside of your NotebookLM Notebook about creating infographics.
Okay, so with that, thanks and I will see you in another video.
